Privacy Policy

In short: the site does not require an account and does not ask you to submit personal profile information. Limited technical data may be processed by the hosting provider and Ahrefs Web Analytics.

1. Information processed

• Server request data: the hosting provider may process IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, user-agent information and related security logs.
• Web analytics: Ahrefs Web Analytics is used to understand aggregate visits and page performance. Its processing is governed by the Ahrefs privacy policy.
• Game state: Real or AI scores and streaks are held in the page while you play and reset when the page is refreshed. They are not attached to a user account.
• Browser features: sharing or clipboard actions occur only when you activate the relevant button and are handled by your browser or operating system.

2. Why information is used

Technical and aggregate information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and understand which pages are useful. The site does not sell visitor information.

3. Google services

Google Analytics is not configured on this site. Google’s Imagen model was used during creation of the published synthetic image files, but visitors do not send prompts or personal data to that model through this website.

4. Real and synthetic images

The downloadable gallery contains AI-generated portraits. The separate Real or AI game also includes a limited collection of real portrait photographs for comparison. Those real photographs are not part of the downloadable gallery and should not be reused from the site.

5. Third-party links

The site links to external websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those providers, not by This Face Not Exist.

6. Your choices

You can use browser privacy controls, content blockers or network settings to limit third-party analytics. Blocking scripts may affect some interactive features but should not prevent access to the site’s core written content.

7. Retention and security

Retention of server logs and analytics data is determined by the relevant hosting and analytics providers. Reasonable steps are taken to keep the static site secure, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly request personal information from children.
