Terms of Service

These terms apply to the downloadable AI-generated portrait collection. The Real or AI game’s real comparison photographs are not offered for download or reuse.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using This Face Not Exist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service or its images.

2. The Service

The Service presents a curated collection of synthetic human portraits produced with an AI image-generation model. The gallery selects from existing files and does not generate a new portrait on demand.

3. Permitted project use

You may download images from the synthetic portrait gallery and incorporate them into personal, educational, research, editorial or commercial projects, subject to the restrictions below. Attribution is appreciated but not required.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• present a generated portrait as a specific real person;
• use an image for impersonation, fraud, fabricated endorsements or other deceptive conduct;
• use an image for illegal, defamatory, exploitative or harmful purposes;
• redistribute, bundle or resell the images as a stock-photo library, dataset or competing image service;
• suggest that the pictured fictional person endorses a product, political position or sensitive claim;
• remove context in a way that makes an AI-generated identity materially misleading.

5. No identity or uniqueness guarantee

Although the gallery images are AI-generated, we cannot guarantee that a portrait is globally unique or that it will not resemble an existing person by coincidence. You are responsible for reviewing whether an image is appropriate for your intended use.

6. Intellectual property and third-party rights

These terms grant permission from the Service operator only. They do not grant rights belonging to another person or platform, and they do not guarantee that every jurisdiction treats AI-generated material in the same way. Obtain independent advice where your use carries meaningful legal or reputational risk.

7. Disclaimer

The Service and images are provided “as is,” without warranties of accuracy, uniqueness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the Service or its images.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated when the collection, tooling or legal requirements change. The revision date identifies the current version.
